I petition the United States Federal Government to open their eyes to the facts and also American history. It is necessary for Law-Abiding-Citizens to have the right to own any firearms we choose. The federal governtment should focus on preventing illegal weapons from entering this country. NOT trying to stop legal purchase and ownership of firearms already in this country. California had an "assault weapons ban" when 2 armed madmen with automatic weapons shot up downtown L.A. during a bank robbery. Not even the police officers had the required "assault rifles" needed to defend against an insane criminal wearing body armor.
Washington should base federal firearms law on New Hampshire's firearm law. Plain and simple.
