If new strict gun laws are instituted the only people that will be negatively affected will be good law abiding citizens. Strict drug laws have come a far cry away from solving the drug epidemic in the US. New laws banning certain weapons will only create a new black market trade for criminal dealers to become rich. Criminals are named as such because they do not follow laws. Murderers will still obtain guns at will.
New laws will severely infringe upon our second amendment rights and create additional administrative and financial burdens that this country cannot afford.
