On September 4, 2014, it was rumored that Twitter was headed towards a Facebook-style filtered feed. If this is true, the reverse-chronological user stream that we have come to know and love over the past few years would be a thing of the past.
According to Twitter CFO Anthony Noto, Twitter's timeline being organized in a reverse chronological order, “isn’t the most relevant experience for a user.” I would beg to differ, as most people who engage on Twitter on a daily basis would say that this feature is what makes Twitter their primary social media platform.
Please Twitter, keep the timeline the way that it is and don't completely ruin the user experience.
