Stop the unconstitutional practice of Executive Orders.

Created by J.G. on June 02, 2014

The use of the Executive Order has become a common practice by both Republican and Democrat Presidents. Nowhere in the U.S. Constitution will you find this authority given to any branch of the government - to pass regulatory directives, rules, etc, with the stroke of a pen. If there is no law about a certain policy, the Constitution is clear: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people" (10th Amendment). No single person or branch should have this power. The checks and balances were set up for exactly this reason. If we ignore the Constitution, our country will eventually fall.
