Stop the unfair cut in Social Security payments to Police Officers who paid into the system during prior civilian jobs.

Created by J.E. on March 30, 2013

Under Ronald Reagan, those who became Police Officers later in life, after paying into the Social Security system (for example paying their 40 quarters) were penalized to receive only a third of what they should have received upon retirement. This is not those who became cops right out of High School and never paid into the system but those who paid all along for years. Those who decide to protect and serve later in life should not be treated like second class citizens. This is theft, either pay full benefits or give them the money back they paid into the system during their civilian employment.
