We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Stop the United States Navy from Eliminating 241-Year-Old Rating System

Created by M.B. on September 29, 2016

History and tradition that is what the United States Navy is built on. On Sep 29 2016 that was thrown away. A closed door panel decided that effective immediately all rates would be replaced with a code. Ask anyone who has served in the United States Navy what they did, and they will give you a rate. We go by titles such as Gunners Mate, Boatswain Mate, Machinist’s Mate, That is gone. Please help me to convince our president and our government that the United States Navy should keep its rates and its history and that closed door panels don’t have the right to take away our traditions and our culture.
