Stop the United States Parole Commission From the Prolongation of Time D.C. Code Offenders Serves by Street Time Lost

Since 1932 the United States Parole Commission (USPC) have resented and rejected the District of Columbia's (DC) progressive system of parole for individuals that have committed violations of the DC Code. While the DC system emphasize rehabilitation and rewards self-development by awarding good time credits for DC Code offenders in custody or on parole ("street time"), the USPC's primary focus for D.C. Offenders is punishment. Unfortunately, as a result of the DC's refusal to take responsibility for their inmates, despite their desires for the sovereignty of statehood, has relinquished control over its inmates to the USPC who does not credit street time if parole is revoked. The USPC has stripped away at the progressive system to pre-1932 federal provisions once rejected by DC.
