To many police today are to fast to pull the trigger on unarmed people simply because someone called 911 and thought they saw a gun. Douglas Zerby was watering a lawn with a lawn sprayer. He was shot and killed by Long Beach PD in CA without a word of warning from the responding officers. This is unacceptable the American people deserve better. What would Andy Griffith have done? We ask because that is the type of police officer we expect to be in our neighborhoods professional calm and fair. We do not get that. Instead we get this. We will not stand for this. We demand you fix this.
