Many politicians in America's Government spend unnecessary tax dollars on personal purchases. The national debt is outrageously high, and we as people should petition for ways to annually lower the debt. Think of the generations to come, and the tax rate to pay off the debt then. Working at it now will greatly benefit them. Blaming the opposing party, shutting down government and all just to raise the debt ceiling seems childish and the easy way out.
