Stop Unsolicited Bulk Mail Waste

Created by L.H. on January 21, 2013

Create a "NO BULK MAIL" list similar to the "Do Not Call List" to stop unwanted solicitations.

Anyone who does not want the daily pile of junk mail waste can sign up on-line, adding their name to a list that must be checked by sellers and solicitors BEFORE a bulk mailer is sent out. This way the huge amount of paper waste can be reduced tremendously. This saves trees and the energy to make it, plus the cost to deliver it. Senders must also provide a toll free telephone number on the back of ALL bulk mail that can easily be called to remove the receiver from their mailing list. If any (1) one home receives more then three articles of unsolicited mail from the same company after indicating it is not wanted, heavy fines will be levied on the sender.
