Stop the US Department of Education from using predatory collection agencies (GC Services) to retrieve student loans.

My petition is for the US Department of Education to stop using predatory collection agencies such as GC Services to threaten and harass people into paying outstanding student loans. Student loans are a drain on the middle class as it is, and it's completely unscrupulous to hand off the collection of these loan repayments to agencies that use duplicitous and terrorizing methods to attempt to collect them. I'm not asking for loan forgiveness - just a simple, rational way to repay them at a pace that won't force me to live in the streets while working as an educator in the public school system.
