stop the US Government from sending thousands of Hebrew, Arabic, Judeo-Arabic, and English documents back to Iraq.

On May 6, 2003, American soldiers from Mobile Exploitation Team Alpha entered Saddam Hussein's flooded intelligence building looking for chemical weapons. Inside they found thousands of books, Torah scrolls, and documents belonging to the Jewish Community of Iraq that had been stolen by the Iraqis. The National Archives took in these documents and saved and preserved them for the past 10 years. They are now on public display. But not for long. The Government has decided on sending all these items back to Iraq where they will not be treated with respect and these documents will be lost. Please help keep these artifacts important to Iraqi Jewry safe and in a place where they would be respected and learned from and NOT be sent back to Iraq.
