"The United states of Department of Labor informed New Jersey states officials that the Federal EB program will not be available to long term unemployed people as of July 7, 2012." This is extremely disturbing news....
However On February 22, 2012, President Obama signed The Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012 (H.R. 3630). This federal legislation extends Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) benefits through December 2012. Additionally, it incorporates other significant changes and additional requirements to the program.
Families of New Jersey including myself will be drastically effected by this.. Please support the petition to continue benefits for the unemployed of New Jersey..
