There is no single electronic system in our country that could be more desirable by some to "hack" than the electronic voting machines we use in our elections.
In the last election, both the democrats and the republicans were in uproar prior to the election. Both sides believed that the other had hacked the machines. After Obama won, the democrats quickly calmed down and ceased any further complaining about the machines being hacked by Romney. But many republicans to this day still firmly believed Obama hacked the machines.
Regardless of whether a hack occurred, it is clear that neither side trusts those machines. And as such, we need to get rid of them, and go back to paper and ink. Security of our elections is more important than being able to count the votes fast.
