The rates of marijuana smoking in adults have remained stable since the 1990s. However, the rates of addiction to pot have risen significantly over that same period. And, according to recent government studies, as many as 30% of today's teenagers are smoking marijuana. Marijuana is indeed the gateway drug to others such as cocaine, meth, and other illegal drugs. It has became out of control. It should and never have should have been legalized for any reason. Cancer patients can be giving other alternatives because many of the patients are SHARING the drugs and SELLING them illegally on the streets. Pain clinics in California are giving out Marijuana to people who DO NOT EVEN NEED IT.
