stop the use of military drones to attack targets in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, or anywhere else in the world.

We demand an immediate halt to the use of military drones, such as the Predator, to attack "insurgent" and Taliban targets in Afghanistan and Pakistan. These robot bombers cannot distinguish between so-called "justifiable" targets and non-combatants--innocent men, women, and children. When a man loses his family to a drone attack, he doesn't thank America for liberating him from the Taliban--he curses the country that killed his wife and children!
At the same time that we mourn the tragic deaths of children in Newtown, the US military has declared that children in Taliban-held areas of Afghanistan are legitimate targets. Afghan children have no less right to live in peace and security than do our children here at home.
