The US hires private security contractors to defend our interests. Corporations drive for profit making such companies unreliable. Recent reports have surfaced about a security breach at Oak Ridge, the US's only facility for handling, processing and storing weapons-grade uranium. This was due to security personnel their ignoring trespassing alarms and not fixing cameras that had been broken for possibly months. The protesters went to the security office and turned themselves in, image if a terrorist organization had broken in. Also is the recent report of security personnel in Afghanistan drunk and high almost every other night and according to an employees there incapable of responding to an attack.
