The Cabarrus County School system located in Cabarrus county North Carolina uses an online math program named ALEKS (Assessment and LEarning in Knowledge Spaces) to help the students practice math. Most teachers take this up for a grade and if they choose not to do it or even in some cases just forget to do it one week it could have a big negative impact on your grade. Not only this it just waste students time, there are better ways than this to get students to practice topics learned in math such as teachers giving out homework or teaching lessons in topics that need work. I know some students don't do homework but if they are not doing homework, they most likely aren't using ALEKS. Please sign this petition to help students that are forced to do ALEKS.
