Stop using electoral votes to determine the next president or use it only in a case of a tie like it should be,

the way the electoral vote is used make the people of the united states votes not count. I think the way the electoral college should be used is in the event of a tie in the election then the candidate with the most electoral votes wins but if one candidate has more votes than his opponent then it should stand to reason that he won the election because the people voted him in not because he had more electoral votes from the electoral college.
