The Obama administration likes to use the statistic that women make 77% of what men do in the workplace, but that statistic is incredibly misleading.
If you divide the average income made by women by the average income made my men, it will be around 77%, but that fails to take in account differences in job types, education, work experience, hours worked, etc.
When you do actually look at "equal work" between men and women, women make at least 98% of what men do in the workplace. As Commander and Chief, Obama should promote honesty and equality instead of trying exacerbate the gender divide by using misleading facts.
