If a league has a drug use issue that they cannot work out on their own, then any costs incurred by Federal involvementshould be charged to the league.
If a leauge/players association need Federal mediators, then the league and players need to be charged for time/services
If a team/player is subject to cheating then the government shouldn't volunteer to investigate the issue. Its a sport. its a game. let the league work it out.
There is no place in our government to use limited monies that can be used to work out these issues. The leagues and players have enough fund on their own to pay for their own messes.
In fact, our government resources should not be used at all in what is, ulimately, trivial issues - especially not for free!
