We ask that the president and congress stop holding Social Security and Military paychecks hostage for their own political grandstanding. Furthermore, We petition the president to cut welfare payments when he feels that money is needed.
We find it reprehensible that, when telling the American people that certain payments may be withheld, the first people thrown under the bus are people that have worked as productive members of society and paid into a system that was put in place to help them during their later years, and people that put their lives on the line to protect us.
However, Welfare payments roll along.
We ask that priorities be reestablished where debts to those that have contributed are honored.
