Stop using the Supreme Court to creatively interpret the Constitution instead of having Congress amend it when needed.

Created by E.S. on December 31, 2012

We, the undersigned, petition the government to amend the Constitution when needed, and to not allow the process of Constitutional amendment to be performed by the Supreme Court. In short, we are asking our elected officials to follow the oaths they swore to follow.
Our Supreme Court has creatively interpreted the Constitution to repeal the forth amendment, and will do the same with more of our rights. The court has repetitively interpreted the Constitution in bizarre ways to create and repeal rights as they see fit.
The Constitution has a method changing rights. It requires an amendment which involves two thirds of our elected officials, not a dozen non-elected officials with lifetime positions.
Every one of these interpretations weakens the Constitution, our rights, and our country.
