Stop using tax payer dollars for the war on drugs

For years the government has wasted hundreds of billions of dollars on the "Drug War". The drug war has not worked and the government has shown as little improvement in legalizing marijuana or even for that matter explaining WHY the plant should remain illegal when substances such as tobacco and alcohol have been killing young Americans and children for years.
We the people demand that you stop using our money to arrest our friends and family for drug possession when it is clearly an issue of health, and the prison system is not the answer.
Put the money into something more effective. A wise man told me once that to eliminate a serious problem, the first step is to educate on the matter so people won't go back to harmful substances, place the money into the Department of Education.
