stop using the term "assault weapons ban" and begin using "ban on guns that look a little bit scarier than others"

President Obama is misleading the American people by claiming that assault weapons and machine guns are legal to own by anybody in this country. The "assault weapons ban" of 1994 categorized assault weapons as a weapon based solely on looks. By clarifying that he wants to ban some guns in 2013 based on their looks instead of giving them a name that scares the American people, will help the American people decide whether or not to support him with his efforts.
