In 2013 news reports explained that the military is continuing to practice simulated military exercises in several U.S. metropolitan areas. The exercises can occur without warning, and involve Apache helicopters flying below building high-rise rooftop levels. They also appear to involve the firing of heavy caliber blanks. Coordination with local police has also been noted.

The people signing this petition believe that our U.S. cities are not military training grounds, and we ask that you direct these exercises to take place in remote areas, constructing simulations of urban environments as necessary.
