We The People was created in the spirit of real dialogue between the American People and its representatives. When we participated by speaking out about the issues which we considered to be most important, we expected the Obama Administration to take advantage of this platform by responding candidly.
It took a month for the administration to respond, and when they did, it was with scripted campaign talking-points, deflection, and disinterest. This is unacceptable, and it shows us that the Obama Administration was never serious about reaching out to the public.
We demand a real response.
