The VA has declared thousands of service-connected disabled veterans fiduciary mentally incompetent with standards way less stringent than required by a normal court of law to declare a regular citizen incompetent. The VA Fiduciary program has no oversight and no means for a service-connected disabled veteran of appealing this adverse decision. The VA should not be able to declare someone fiduciary mentally incompetent on a whim, and the veteran should be allowed a means to requalify and regain their dignity and independence.
