In modern Ukraine during the last 2 years the right of freedom of speech and expression opinion was violated. Nowadays, there are only two opinions in Ukraine: the opinion of the authorities and the wrong one. Dozens of journalists and activists who strongly opposed the government were imprisoned on charges of "separatism", "support of terrorism"and "state treason." These people declared the opposition point of view and strongly criticized the policy of the authorities. For this they were deprived of freedom and prosecuted by state machine. In this regard, we ask government of the United States of America to influence on the Ukrainian authorities, forcing them to respect actually the right of freedom of speech and to stop political persecution of opposition journalists and activists.
