And, according to the WHO World Health Statistics - 2012, the Under-5 Mortality Rate (U5MR; probability of children aged 1 -5 dying per 1000 live births - not taking into account stillbirth, neonatal, or infant rates) in 2010 were 119, 68, and 57 for the African, Eastern Mediterranean, and South-East Asia Regions, respectively with several countries having an U5MR of no greater 3.
