The transportation department is inacting laws and regulations on drivers that have nothing to with saftey. But that is the cover they use to pass them. With the current rules a driver that is tired can not pull over and take a nap. Because it will count against his driving time. So tell me how that is making the roads safer. Oversized loads are made to park in bad wheather for the saftey of the public. But the next time there is a storm look at the trucks in the ditch and in the wreaks they are the double and triple trailers from FED X/UPS/ROADWAY and so on. Those trucks should be made to park when the roads are bad.
