The United Nations is no longer about doing what is best for the world. It has become a stage for petty bickering among rival nations. It also has no real power to accomplish anything. Yet the USA gives over $5 billion per year to this organization. We are by far the largest contributor.
I call on the government to stop supporting the UN. There is no need for us to be supporting this wasteful, corrupt organization.
The UN has placed countries such as China, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia on its Human Rights Council. These are countries which violate numerous human rights. China does not allow free speech, while Jordan and Saudi Arabia mistreat women all the time.
The UN is a joke. It's time for us to stop wasting money on them.
