Wasting paper, for 1500+ page bills or documents, is costing tax payers a lot of money as well as being wasteful, in our current state of wanting to recycle more.
For example, Obama's health care bill was 1990 pages. It was printed for 435 Representatives, 100 Senators, as well as 15 Cabinet Secretaries, the Vice President, and countless others. This is a total of over a million pieces of paper, or over 12 cords of wood!!! This is only one bill among thousands.
Instead, all of these bills should be digitized in ebook format for all Americans and others to read. No need to waste paper or ink. It will save over time not only millions of dollars, but also trees in our forests as well.
