Stop wasting taxpayer money investigating the killing of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe.

While the killing of Cecil the Lion is tragic it is in no way the responsibility of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife to perform any investigation into the matter. Allowing the USFWS to proceed with this investigation is a waste of taxpayer money. If an investigation is to be performed it is the responsibility of the government of Zimbabwe to decide how to proceed. If Zimbabwe charges Mr. Palmer with a crime then the only response from our nation is to determine whether or not he has committed a crime subject to international extradition law. The U.S. Government has no right to strip Mr. Palmer of his passport, his property, nor his license to operate his dentistry. To do so is a clear violation of his rights as a U.S. citizen and a travesty of the law.
