The WH must stop the "We the People: Your Voice In Our Government" webpage immediately. Although, Americans have a right to petition the government, the Obama administration is not solely THE government. The US is a functional democratic republic; senators and representatives have been elected by "we the people" to petition/champion the causes of their constituencies in our federal government.This online petition website is ill-conceived and it is harmful to our fractured nation.Several petitions have gone far as to ask that a particular state be granted to cede from the US while others ask that US citizens be deported. This is unacceptable. This online petition webpage must be removed and our current federal government must uphold the integrity of our constitution and our governing order.
