BUD/S involves mile long ocean swims, getting dumped in cold water, rigorous hours of pushups, pullups, and other extremely difficult tasks. This 6 month course has a 75% washout rate.
There are so many issues involved in letting women in to the ranks the SEALs, which include hygiene issues, privacy issues, sexual tension, and lack of comradery between male trainees and female trainees.
I'm not saying they can't make it, I'm just saying that there are many problems involved in this, and current and former SEALs don not want this.
