United States as a country is created upon the backs of hard workers from many different races in the world who immigrated here to survive and thrive. Therefore it cannot survive without cooperation between its citizens. The United States is the center of human progress, and should give an example to the rest of the world of a truly plural and globally conscious nation.
Unfortunately, even after hundred of years, there still exists a form of discrimination in the hearts of Americans. Hatred that is directed specifically toward ethnic immigrants, even those who had been here for many generations. The motto "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness" in the Declaration of Independence applies to all Americans no matter where they came from.
