The petition to remove the word "God" from money and the Pledge was brushed off. The Obama Administration is completely ignoring how this chips away at the separation between Church and State. These mentions of, at the very least, a monotheistic deity alienates pagans and non-believers alike. It also goes against the principles this nation was founded on and should be recognized as illegal.
In recent times, we've seen various displays of disregard for Separation of Church and State, which largely goes unpunished and unrecognized. This barrier need to be strengthened. The United States of America is a country that prides itself in freedom for all walks of life. Favoritism of monotheistic (particularly Christian faiths) should not be tolerated.
