Strengthen Equal Employment Opportunity

Created by D.W. on January 10, 2013

The EEOC promises equal opportunity for employment based on almost everything. Race, color, origin, sex, religion, age, disability, etc.

This does not, however, protect against all discrimination. Certain things can still cause a person to be overlooked for a job, even if they are completely qualified for the position.

These things include: Body modifications (i.e. tattoos and piercings), Men with long hair, and things of that nature; also, in more cases than not, sexual orientation can still cause a person to be over looked.

I suggest that equal opportunity for employment be law for everything, not only certain things.

My step-father was in court where he saw the judge tell the person before him to cut his hair for a lesser sentence.
