make sure that anyone purchasing a "military style" "assault weapon" goes through a complete background check. make sure all "assault weapon" transfers go through a licensensed FFL dealer whether a private transfer or commercial. have background checks before any high capacity magazines are sold and make sure all sales of high capacity magazines go through a licensed ffl dealer, and sales documented. raise the age for purchasing ammunition for these types firearms to 21. limit the amount of ammunition that can be purchased at one time over the internet and/or make sure that all large ammunition sales are checked through an ffl dealer. strengthen the laws preventing mentally ill people from getting a hold of ALL firearms instead of attacking law abiding gun owners.
