Strengthen Gun Ownership laws by implementing the following:

1:a) require renewal of ownership approval for weapons at least every 5 years and
b) require gun buyers to prove ownership of a functioning gun safe before purchasing a weapon and
c)require prospective buyers to take and pass a regulated firearms training course before purchase
d) institute laws holding gun owners responsible for failure to keep their guns secured in a functioning gun safe if those weapons are used in the commission of any crime by any persons
2: e) min. tax of 50% all firearms and ammunition
f) min. tax of 50% on all violent games, shows, and movies
g) devote a minimum of 50% of the above taxes to improving mental health care and educating people against violence.
h) apply a portion of those taxes to enforcement of the articles outlined in this petition.
