For those who haven't heard of the case, a 16 year old girl from West Virginia was repeatedly gang raped and abused by several teenage boys from Steubenville, Ohio. The girl was highly intoxicated at the time; therefore, was unable to consent to any form of sexual contact. To make matters worse, some events were PHOTOGRAPHED AND FILMED and talked about on the internet.These teenage boys, including, Trent Mays, 17, and Ma'lik Richmond, 16, the ONLY TWO WHO WERE PUT ON TRIAL, were given the short sentence of at least one year in juvenile detention. THIS GIRL WAS REPEATEDLY RAPED BY MULTIPLE PEOPLE, ABUSED, HUMILIATED AND DEFILED BY TEENAGE BOYS WHO RUN THE TOWN. This girl deserves justice. Strengthen the laws and punishments on rape so we can prevent this from ever happening again.
