Strengthen regulation of the meat industry

Created by K.D. on August 08, 2015

Vegetarianism is on the rise, which could lead to a dent in the meat industry's profit. The main reason for this change in diet is due to the ongoing cruelty in slaughterhouses across America. However, animal meat contains nutrients necessary for human survival. To combat the problem, America needs stricter regulation in farms that hold animals for production. Animals must be butchered in a more respectful, cruelty-free way, as well as in a sanitary environment in order to prevent disease. As the truth behind slaughterhouses becomes known to the public, the more damage there is to the industry. The only way to prevent the decline is to end animal cruelty once and for all.
