PHIERS.org has a strategy to build healthier communities, stimulate job creation and sustainable economic growth.
This will be accomplished by providing training as well as access to health and social services in schools and faith/community based organizations. This will create jobs for health and social workers and provide opportunities to establish small businesses. Assistance will be provided to patients and caregivers to help them comply with self-care and discharge instructions, resulting in more effective outcomes, fewer complications and ER visits, reducing stress and financial burdens on families and love ones.
