We petition for the creation of legislation that nullifies current laws exempting the petroleum tracking industry from disclosure.
We would like laws that ensure compliance with environmental safety concerns; not limited to environmental impact statements, geological studies for each region, inspections in an ongoing manner, requiring insurance by operators similar to that required by oil tankers, imposing a uniform impact tax designed to repair damages to roads, develop the local economy to handle increased infrastructure, cleanup after wells are not producing, disclosure of water tests, drilling mud, fracking-fluid, disposal methods...
