The TSA was created in the wake of the 9/11 tragedy. Exploiting American's panic and fear by blaming a system that did it's job, a job that was DEFINED by the FAA, is completely unjustified. WE were told that the screeners didn't do their job. That was a LIE. And not a single terrorist attack has been thwarted by the TSA since 9/11(out of several). The SPP is a private screening model set up under the ATSA. In short, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure compared SFO(SPP) and LAX(TSA) and found:
-SPP demonstrated 65% more efficiency
-75 percent of fake bombs where smuggled through LAX with only 20 percent SFO
Private screening did their job in 2001 and are doing their job today, more effectively and efficiently
