strictly limit the amount of media coverage after tragic events like school shootings to prevent copycats wanting fame

Created by D.I. on December 24, 2012

I would like to have legislation put in place to strictly regulate the amount of media coverage given to tragic events like Sandy Hook Elementary. After every tragedy our ravenous media machine sets up shop on the scene for 2 weeks running a 24 hour loop of coverage. This paves the way for copycat nut jobs to pursue their 15 minutes of fame. We need to regulate the amount of time the media is allowed to spend covering these atrocities to discourage any more senseless killing in the name of fame and attention!!!!
