Strictly monitor and regulate, at the federal level, all extraction technologies (i.e., hydrofracking for NG).

The natural gas "rush" in the Marcellus and Utica Shale strata threaten our most precious resource, our potable, clean water supplies. All extraction technologies are inherently dirty, disruptive, and dangerous, both for the environment and for those working to retrieve our "natural" resources which are finite and destined to become more expensive to retrieve than we will be able or willing to pay for them. This insanity must cease. Subsidies to the Oil and Gas industry must stop. They are making enough profit to underwrite what further exploration we deem safe and appropriate.
