Because most churches are too cowardly to express political opinions for fear of losing their tax-exempt status, it is good for churches to be stripped of their tax-exempt status, so that they will no longer be afraid to speak the truth.
Tithers will still tithe, and givers will still give, but it's mostly the corrupt political organizations (like ACORN and PBS) that will suffer due to losing their tax exemptions.
