Strip churches and other religious organizations of their tax exempt status for promoting political agendas.

During the last election some church leaders said in response to President Obamas defense of marriage equality that they were not going to vote while indirectly influencing their parishioners to do the same. This is in direct violation of the regulation requirements that qualifies them for 501(c)(3) status. Church leaders who have gone on the record and said that should be stripped completely of their tax exempt status and the church in which they have done it in should be stripped of their tax exempt status for 6 months.
